Another Ozarks Weekend

This past weekend we took a mini-vacation/road trip to Missouri to see my youngest sister graduate high school. Now that Shaye has graduated, all of my siblings are out of school. Talk about feeling old. When Todd and I moved to Nashville my youngest siblings were nine and ten. Now they're both in college. Todd met Shaye when she was going on three years old. That's almost the age Crosbi is now. Time really flies.

I'm definitely a proud big sister. Congratulations, Shaye!

We spent the rest of the weekend with family. We hit our favorite frozen custard spot and did a little shopping in Branson. But our visit is never complete until we make a trip to the creek. Watching Crosbi with her cousins is so sweet. I'm excited to see the relationship they'll have as they get older.

On Monday we left for St. Louis. I had a work meeting and Todd and Crosbi tagged along. We went to a Cardinals game and Crosbi really enjoyed it for about four innings. Cotton candy helped. The next day we made a quick stop at the Science Center, then grabbed lunch with my friend Rachel. Besides my diploma, the greatest thing I received from college was her friendship. I just wish we lived closer.

Such a fun weekend.

I'm glad to be home, but always thankful for the chance to see the people I love. Until next time, Missouri.

xoxo
