Breaking the Bank

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that little girls' clothes are more fun, I would have a nice little chunk of change. But, funny enough I'm finding that the cutest clothes for little girls are in toddler sizes. I'm having the hardest time finding things I love in newborn or 0-6 months that aren't pink. Don't get me wrong, pink is great, I just don't need my girl's closet to look like a giant bottle of Pepto Bismol exploded in it.

Thankfully the good folks at H&M understand my dilemma and have the cutest clothes for age 2 months and up. I just have a slight problem. We don't have an H&M! But, I do have a mom who has an H&M in her city and I think we're going to have to come up with some type of ordering system. I'm thinking I send her a list of the items I want and a check, she does the shopping and ships to my house (making her Grandma of the century) and everybody wins! 









Seriously, with clothes this cute (and incredibly affordable), how can I resist? My little girl may break the bank, but I can't wait to dress her. I just need to get the nursery finished so her little outfits have a place to go. Hoping to have nursery photos soon!

    Those pics make me wish we had an H&M here! And being affordable means you can buy that much more! Girls are so, so fun to shop for, though it has been fun buying little man outfits too. Definitely feel you on the non-pepto closet. Only so much of the wardrobe can be pink before it's too much. Purple is fabulous as are many other colors. I get so excited when I find cute, girly outfits in colors other than pink. Can't wait to see pics of YOUR baby on here! Won't be long now!

    Believe it or not I have gathered a little stash of girls stuff just in case, and I have found the best stuff at garage sales!! I am fine with a little pink here and there, but I mean come on.... everything? I love gray for little girls right now! So.... if come next week I find I have another little boy, you might be gaining some girl stuff that's not pink!!

    OCD Mommy - I agree, I love purple too. The one good thing about all pink - makes laundry easy!

    Emily - you're so sweet. I can't wait to find out what you're having!! And I love gray on little girls. I'm getting anxious to hear the news!

    Oh believe me, I understand! We just got an H&M here and I had to seriously restrain myself. The key is getting a lot of cute hand-me-downs or going to consignment stores where you can get Gap or Gymboree stuff for like $2 :)
