Oh Happy Day

I have read several blogs lately that are featuring “happy lists,” lists of five or ten things that make people really happy. I found a couple fun lists here and here. What a great idea!

Since I’ve been a little down in the dumps the past couple of weeks, I thought I would make my own little happy list to cheer myself up. Although, this week has been off to a great start and will end with a trip to Missouri to see family. The weekend can't get here soon enough. On Saturday I'll be celebrating my baby sister's 14th birthday. She and I are having a "sister day," just the two of us. So really, I have no reason to complain. Instead I will count my blessings, and the 10 things that make me oh so happy.

So tell me, what makes you happy?!

  2. Tara!

I love that you are spreading happiness (because it's contagious)!

I also love crisp sheets right of the dryer. I still love to roll around in hot, clean laundry fresh out of the dryer. :D

Here's a peek at my happy list:

    1. Mike Fox

  3. Bean - you make me laugh, really hard! And yes, I roll around with my warm clothes too. Most times I just pick up the whole load at once and just stand there, with my face buried in their warmth. The little things, right?

And please, please come to Nashville. That would be so great!

  4. I'm glad I can spread laughter! It's way better than spreading lice! I don't have lice now but I had it once. It wasn't fun.

Other items on my happy list include plastic toys (especially ones that light up) and colors (in general).

I plan on visiting you and Christiana sometime! I will bring my fabulousMikeFox and light-up necklace from Disneyland.

We will eat cupcakes and drink wine (even though that will make our mouths taste bad) and share stories. I am very excited for that day!

    "Toostfu!"

What a wonderful word verification. I think I should sit and make up words for word verification programs (or whatever they're called). That would be a fun job.

  5. Bean - you make me smile. You definitely belong on my Happy List. :)

Tara - this is such a great idea! And I love the things that make you happy. Let's do a bunch of them together soon. :)

(Like get a really good cheeseburger. Might I suggest now? My stomach is growling at the thought!)
